A family in forced relocation site, in eastern Tavoy. In forced relocation sites, people are controlled by Burmese army and they are severely restricted making it difficult to earn what they need to survive - the daily basic. For example people have to ask for permission to go to their rice plantation and need to take a pass which they have to bribe the village headmen or Burmese army officers. People face human rights abuses such as torture, killing, various extortions and are subjected to forced labour, etc. Due to restriction and various extortions people plunge into poverty. They lack of basic heath care and education as well.
